What a wondrous and peculiar gathering it has been.
For our 25th Anniversary, you returned once more to the marvelous world inspired by Edward Gorey and you did not simply attend… you became the story. From exquisitely adorned creatures to wandering dreamers and delightfully strange companions, you filled The Regency Ballroom with imagination, elegance, and mischief.
Under one roof, enchantment bloomed. Theatrics soared. Music thundered and whispered. Aerialists hovered between realms. Specters of joy and revelry lingered in every corridor. Together, we suspended ourselves, if only for a weekend, between reality and reverie.
To our performers, artists, collaborators, and devoted guests, thank you for bringing your bold spirits, your velvet finery, and your strange brilliance. It is you who give the Ball its pulse.
A quarter century of shared spectacle is no small feat. We are endlessly grateful to gather with you again and again.

Spawned from the depths of the Bay Area’s thriving dance and circus subcultures, Vau de Vire Society is an avant-cabaret community that consists of some of the nations most acclaimed acrobats, aerial artists and contortionists, an array of unique circus sideshow and fire-performers, a handful of thespians, and a barrage of the most enticing classically-trained dancers.
